Editable Orchestra Syllabus/Handbook (with explanations on why things are!)
This is my orchestra syllabus/handbook that I give to the students at the beginning of each grading period. And as any experienced teacher knows, your syllabus/handbook is very important - not only for your students, but for YOU to know how YOU are going to run YOUR classroom! This syllabus/handbook will work for both middle and high school.
I have found that many handbooks are either too short and missing information, or are very lengthy and take too much time to read. My syllabus/handbook is only 4 pages and is written in SIMPLE vocabulary in a clear and concise format that is EASY FOR BOTH STUDENTS AND PARENTS to understand: All in a no-nonsense, no-fluff, FUNCTIONAL and well-organized document that serves the groundwork for your classroom structure.

Also, to get you started thinking about how to customize it into your own syllabus/handbook, I have also included red-colored TEACHER'S NOTES to explain why I do things the way that I do.
